Remembering Etta...
We are devastated to report that another furry member of our Hammertown family has crossed the rainbow bridge. The passing of Joan's constant companion (and Hammertown model extraordinaire) will leave an enormous hole in the hearts of our staff and so many of our customers who knew her.

COMFORTABLE WITH EVERYONE...EVEN CELEBRITY CUSTOMERS
Most people don't know this but Etta was a raging liberal who valued her freedoms. She was thrilled to meet Hillary when she visited Hammertown Barn.

WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE...
UNTIL THEN, SLEEP WELL DEAREST ETTA
I am so touched by this posting…..I work in a beautiful home design store in Portland Maine – Home Remedies. I am always looking at your website for inspiration…… and came across Etta. I am such a doggie lover and your posting is beyond touching. I love it that your pup was such a liberal and a great companion. I know how much this hurts your heart. I will never get over the dogs that I have lost.
Blessings to you,,,,
Oh Etta! Thank you for blessing us with your furry fabulousness! I had no idea you were a raging liberal, but I knew you kept it real and could definitely work the camera as well as give a squirrel a run for the money. May you be chasing away and resting in between on the fluffiest couches for eternity! And hugs to those you left behind!
So sorry to hear about darling Etta. My little granddaughter fell in love with her over lunch at Provisions. Sympathies to Joan and all her friends at Hammertown.
what a lovely tribute to beloved Etta—She was so adorable, and so photographable.
It is so good that she has her late companions waiting for her in heaven.
I always line up my beloved departed to greet the newest arrival.-Gives me comfort to visualize this.
To Joan and Hammertown Family,
Etta and Murray (our beloved Westie) will no doubt fall in love! Both brought enormous joy to the world and are missed beyond words. I wish for you comfort in the memories you will always have of Etta and her blessed presence in your lives.
